Robert L. Bell is the President and co-founder of 906multimedia, born in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Bell attended Olney high School where he was a gifted scholar and athlete. After graduation he attended The University of Maryland, Eastern Shore where he continued his academic and athletic career.  

 

After leaving UMES Robert moved to Rochester, New York and worked for the Rochester City School District. After leaving the district Robert joined the Rochester Police Department.  As a decorated officer Robert  was a certified academy instructor, field training officer, recruitment officer, received two life saving awards, and contributed to the preservation and safety of citizens in the city of Rochester, New York.

 

Robert came back to Philadelphia to dedicate himself to the uplift of our community and focused on the development of youth. Robert worked as youth advocate for the Philadelphia Youth Advocate Program, a Program Manager for The Philadelphia Youth Service Corps, Youth Build Philadelphia, and a Workforce Development Program Manager for the Philadelphia Jobs Initiative Program under the direction of State Representative Dwight Evans and OARC.  Robert  is currently the Assistant Director of Employment Services for Goodwill of Southern NJ / Philadelphia.

 

His passion for writing poetry and short stories moved him to write Down By 2, his first book. After getting rejected by several publishing companies Robert along with Lynne Walker  started 906multimedia, a Publishing and Production company specializing in print media, music, video and performing arts.

 

To date Robert is the author of Down By 2, The executive producer of "The Visitor, A Day in the life of Ridiculous", the CD LYNNE - Music with a different Style; the associate editor and layout designer of Hot Flashes, not a menopause thang - The E-MAG; the host of The Hot Flashes, not a menopause thang Show on blogtalkradio, and the co-author of Hot Flashes, not a menopause thang - THE BOOK. Robert is currently developing a magazine called Kommon Senze, a written publication dedicated to educating the African American community on upward mobility and social change.  As President of 906multimedia Robert's  goal is to collaberate with SATIN DOLL PRODUCTIONZ and  build a full service production theater, film and music studio
